The technical nature of both our R&D and manufacturing processes serve as a major competitive advantage and is essential to the production of consistently high quality adhesives & coatings.

Our 30,000sq ft manufacturing site is capable of producing 25,000 tonnes of adhesive a year. The plant is equipped with state of the art storage, weighing, filtration and mixing facilities, ensuring dependable high quality that can meet customer requirements of any size.

Scitech have received numerous SMART awards for our R&D work and have been commissioned to formulate new innovative products including the development of compostable adhesives.

 

Bespoke - Tailor made products

 

Within the laboratory our chemists offer a comprehensive design, development and testing service, and are able to analyse competitive products and evaluate adhesive bonds or coatings.

Focusing on factors such as application method, machine speed, compression systems, substrates, storage and end use requirements, we are able to develop products which can improve the customers manufacturing process. This improvement is realised through improved efficiency and cost saving.

Our raw materials are sourced from the most prestigious international suppliers. As a result the foundations on which we produce our finished products are based on quality and consistency. Our products are designed to perform to the highest standards, preventing down time and other associated costs caused by poor performance.

As an ISO9001 approved company we apply and enforce the highest quality and management standards throughout our business.

We are members of BASA (British Adhesives & Sealants Association) which keeps us in touch with regulatory developments within our industry that affect both ourselves and our customers, including REACH.

Scitech have embraced the Migresives Project and have embarked on a research programme on migration from adhesives in food packaging materials in support of European Legislation and standardisation. This will enable our customers to use our water-based adhesives, within given limits, with the confidence that they will not exceed the OML (overall migration limit) or the SML (specific migration limit) of potential migrants into food.

We offer a rapid and reliable delivery service and appreciate the importance of on time delivery and the product being supplied in good condition.

As manufacturers we know that down time is unacceptable and understand the need for reliable delivery and accurate stock control. We offer some of the fasted lead times in the industry and are flexible enough to manufacture and dispatch at short notice if required.
